I have a niece, whom I adore. She was my first true baby love. She made me an aunt and her birth grew my heart in ways that I never knew possible. I like to think we have a special relationship, and though 180ish miles may separate us now, I love her and the little lady she is becoming every bit as much as I always have. She came to stay with us for a week recently and it was so nice to have her around. She taught me more than a few things and brought me up to speed in several areas, and I hope she enjoyed her time here just as much as I did. She is Kingston's oldest cousin and therefore is his idol. I'm not sure that I even hold a candle to her in his eyes, and that's ok with me.
A few years back we started taking photos to commemorate her birthdays and this year was no different. As I was editing these photos, her beauty just stunned me. I've always known she is beautiful, but sometimes, when it's captured, you just have to say, "wow."
She is a beautifully talented dancer. We all have truly enjoyed watching her grow and soar on that journey.
and we just had to....
We also stopped by HOPE Outdoor Gallery.
Thanks for a rad week, Sydney Elyse. <3
